Both can be used for research the next ship in line or modules. There you see in white how much XP you have earned with that ship and in green how much 'free' XP you have. In the right upper corner of that screen you see "ship experience". How much XP you have earned with a ship, you can see if you click that ship in port. In WoT you also have the possibility to use the XP you earn AFTER the tank becomes 'elite', to train your crew a little faster. When you have research everything possible with the XP earned with a ship, the ship becomes 'elite' and you cant do anything anymore with the XP you earn with that ship after that, except exchange it for gold (real money) to 'free' XP, so you can use it for every other ship or module you want. It's a kind of 'extra' that is not bound to the ship where you have earned it with. You need the credits to buy the ship or the modules you had research.īesides that, for every 100 XP you earn in battle, you get an additional 5% (5 XP) that is 'free' XP and can be used for everything. The experience points (XP) can be used to research the next ship in the line of the techtree.įurthermore you can use the XP to research a better hull or other modules for your current ships. ![]() Every fight you earn experience points and credits.
